This coming Monday (June 10) there will be a no-cost basketball shooting clinic at Crosspoint Academy in Chico. The clinic starts at 5:30 p.m. and will be hosted by the Noah Basketball Group, which has been recommended by former area high school basketball coach – and basketball junkie – Al Gleich.
The Noah Basketball Group uses a computerized system that measures the arc and depth of an athlete’s shot to help him/her understand what makes up the perfect shot. Each athlete will shoot a free throw and have the shot measured. They will also receive a printout of what their arc is.
At 6 p.m., parents are invited to hear the Noah Basketball Group talk about the system. Athletes are encouraged to sign-up at the Crosspoint Academy front office to reserve a spot.
