TERRY MOSHER
You know you are in trouble when you have to seriously ask yourself, “What is he up to” about your president. We are in troubled waters, I think we can all agree, and each day brings more questions with all the lies. What is going on is each day’s mantra.
I have to go back to what Trump – aka the Monster and Don the Con – has said, although to be honest he lies about everything so that makes it extremely difficult to discover what he is up to. And what he has said is he’s all about winning, winning, winning and money, money and more money. That is about the only thing I can take him at his word for.
It also is fair to say that his man needs attention. He craves it. He’s the ultra narcissist. We can go into depth about his personality and talk about the people who have degrees in psychology that in agreement say that he is mentally unstable. Being insane is troubling enough, but I’m more concerned with what he’s up to. He might be a madman, but he’s a cunning madman who uses misdirection to mask what he is really up to.
I read people’s comments on social media and there is clear evident of a national split in moods when it comes to this guy. People either love him unconditional or hate him with the same intensity. My feeling is that most people don’t get it. He is an extreme danger to our constitution, our democracy, and those people who are in love with him won’t get it until it’s too late.
To get where I’m at in regard to this monster, you have to believe, as I do, that he is not the president because, as he often says, he wants to help the “forgotten” people in this country. It should be pretty clear even now by whom he has nominated for his cabinet and who he has fired and what executive orders he has issued so far that he has no interest in you or the country. No matter how much in love you are with him, he has given no reason for you or anybody to believe he is in love with you. In fact, he can’t feel love. He lacks empathy to even begin to love. Watch, just for a small example, how he treats his third wife. She is nothing more than a Stepford Wife, there for his pleasure and nothing else.
So what is he up to?
Well, there is an excellent article in the latest Time Magazine that bluntly lays it out for you. The villain, along with the monster, is Steve Bannon, an evil man who has Trump’s inner ear and who Time labeled “The Great Manipulator.
I read a story, and I don’t know if it’s true or not (in fact, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to tell fact from fiction), that Bannon gave Trump a list of things he wanted to be issued as executive orders. He did not tell Trump what to do, but Trump worked from that list as he started issuing EOs.
According to the piece in Time, what Bannon through Trump wants to accomplish is the complete destruction of the old establishment. In today’s information age, it’s becoming easier to accomplish goals (I wrote about this over a year ago that the informational age will at some point implode our society because we will reach overload and things will just explode) because of the vast reach of social media and the ability, if one is willing, to unleash the information you want people to hear (such as false stories, which led to the defeat of Hillary Clinton).
The Great Liar (Trump) is the king of misinformation, or alternative facts as his underling’s state, and his reach is vast. So whatever the goal he and Bannon have in mind, they have the media avenues to grease the path to it.
This is what Time wrote in its excellent article:
“Trump won the election in part by understanding that this is no ordinary time. Technology has placed a communications revolution in nearly every American palm. When mixed with the economic frustrations of a globalized economy, this power unleashed a new populism. In the history of human beings, it has never been easier to organize groups, for good or ill, or to communicate both truth and lies, to question authority and to undermine the answers that authority gives. Trump leveraged this growing power to bypass the traditional gatekeepers of power – the media, the political parties, the elected and unelected bosses.”
Because Trump lives in a different reality – Clinton was right on this – it is easy for him to communicate his reality (read it as lies) to the masses and if it is repeated enough times there is a good change his reality becomes accepted as reality.
Then there is Bannon, who through the Website Breitbart perfected his philosophy. He’s a smart guy who Time says in its article, “… honed the art of the inflammatory headline and offered a home to the bullyboys of the so-called alt right, including those determined to elevate the abhorrent ideals of white nationalism.”
Bannon, according to time, developed the “Honey Badger” philosophy in which no matter the difficulties … “through bee stings, snakebites and other degradations, the animal never stops killing and eating.”
The Honey Badger doesn’t care what the elites say or do, it keeps on charging, keeps on eating. And this philosophy played well in the rural areas of America where Trump supporters cheered him and the Badger on.
Okay, so now I know that Trump and the Honey Badger (Bannon) are bent on destroying the old order and creating a new one. But how will that play out and what will be the end result?
Well, Bannon is in favor of war. He seems bent on it. He believes that we are in a phase in history that calls for another powerful war. That is probably why they are already picking on Iran and picking a fight with China. It is likely why Trump keeps insisting of the danger of terrorists. Trump is laying the groundwork for war by scaring the American public of the danger associated with terrorism, thus making a case for war.
You should know. However, that the threat of you being killed by a terrorist is less than you being hit by a meteorite. But Trump and the Honey Badger are going to keep creating a scary threat by banning people from Muslim countries and by repeating that the media does not report all the people killed by terrorist, which is another one of his many lies.
Bottom line is that we are headed for some horrific times led by two men who are as bad as they get. I suspect that America will lose face and power and will at some point become a second-rate country that should have known better then to submit to the dangers of a man who is mentally unstable and a madman like Bannon who is intent on destroying the old capitalist system and creating a new order that likely will have a strongman as its leader.
How do we stop it?
I don’t know. It may take a revolution. I don’t think a man like Trump who insists in his own reality that he never loses will ever concede peacefully the power that he has gained from being the best con man in the history of our country. If we survive four years, I can’t see us having another presidential election. At least an honest one. The Republicans have already done away with the election commission that oversees elections in an effort to make sure they are fair.
Could there be an impeachment?
I don’t think so. The Republicans are in control in Congress and they are becoming yes men to the evil one. They will eventually be run over by him and there is no way they will ever stand up to him.
As for mid-term elections in 2018, gerrymandering by the Republicans has almost guaranteed they will stay in power. It’s depressing to think about our future, but it is what it is.
I’ve got to go. My son will soon need to be picked up from his work and I got to clear my mind so I can drive the car. In the meantime, I will continue to speak out, although it’s doubtful that it will do any good.
Be well pal.
Be careful out there.
Have a great day.
You are loved.
