Funston to give low down on fantasy football Wednesday at the Cloverleaf

BRANDON FUNSTON

This is the season for fantasy football and if you want to get an extra edge, show up Wednesday (Aug.30) at 6 p.m. at the Cloverleaf Sports Bar & Grill in east Bremerton to listen to Brandon Funston, the guru of fantasy football, give a rundown on the sport.

Funston, a former all-league point guard for Sequim when the Wolves in 1988 ran the table (25-0) in basketball to sprint into the state championship game, will be the guest speaker at this function hosted by Kitsap Athletic Roundtable.

Cost for KAR member is $10 and non-members $15. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Dinner can be ordered off the menu and there is a no-host bar.

Funtson, who lives in Poulsbo, worked at ESPN and most recently spent 13 years at Yahoo as their Fantasy Football expert.
